Christopher Skerritt

Chris is a vocational expert whose practice spans vocational evaluation, transferable skills analysis, earning capacity evaluation, life care planning, and economic loss assessment in personal injury, employment, and matrimonial matters. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Vocational Experts and a credentialed life care planner and Medicare set-aside consultant.

Vocational and earning-capacity work

Chris works on labor market surveys, job analysis, transferable skills, vocational evaluation, employability assessment, and life care planning. His practice includes earning capacity evaluation and economic loss assessment in matters involving disability or interrupted work life.

Workers’ compensation and SSA experience

Chris previously served as a vocational case manager for Tempus Risk Solutions and for Mitchell/Genex/Coventry Workers’ Compensation Services across Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. He served as a Social Security vocational expert for Greylock Placement Services, testifying at disability hearings on residual functional capacity and transferable skills.

Research and teaching

Chris has published on the use of artificial intelligence in rehabilitation counseling and life care planning, and on the ethics of AI use in vocational practice. He has presented to ABVE, IARP, the Florida Bar trial lawyer section, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches.
